September 9 - 24, Latinbeat 2009. Now in its 12th year, the Film Society of Lincoln Center's Latinbeat festival tracks the flourishing filmography of Latin America with 21 films from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Cuba, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay--most of them in their New York premieres--, and with a seven-film Tribute to Julio Cortázar.
