Some Literary Events/ September 2 - 9

September 2 (7 - 9 pm) Alteración del Orden Público (Altering the Public Order), poems by Nicolás Linares Sánchez. Book presentation and signing by the author. The event is organized by the collective "Poetas de Nueva York". September 6 (12 - 2:00 pm) The Acentos Writers workshops welcomes Marie-Elizabeth Mali. The weekly literary sessions organized by poet and cultural entrepreneur Fish Vargas at the Hostos Community College are back after its Summer break. Born and raised in New York City and with family roots in Venezuela and Sweden, author Marie-Elizabeth Mali is a co-curator for louderARTS: the Reading Series.
