  1. Thanks for sharing this excellent piece by literary researcher Jonathan Blitzer. I had the pleasure of working breifly with Jon last year. And as did the work he was putting out then, this piece demonstrates his extraordinarily meticulous knowledge of his subject (he must certainly be one of the world's foremost experts on Onetti) and his stunning talent and power as a writer in his ouwn right.
