  1. The refree Howard Webb decided the game by evicting the Dutch defender.
    Subsituting Kuyt by young disaster Eli Eljer set the fate of the Dutch.
    He lost th eball to Spain, hence forward the Dutch went from playing in the Spanish quarters to their own and the Sopanish controlled the ball to finally scoring.
