April 16 (10pm) Septeto Nacional Ignacio Piñeiro de Cuba. The tradtional formation from Cuba plays pre-revolution dance music with a suavecito swagger. Tickets $38-48. At Zankel Hall at Carnegie Hall, 881 7th Avenue. For more information click here.

April 21 (8-11 pm) Quince Vocal Ensemble. A performance of Ravi Kittappa's two-part work "Decantations", featuring musicians Carlos Cordeiro, Luis Ianes, and Daniel Reyes Llinás. At the Gershwin Hotel, 7 East 27th Street. For more information click here

April 22 (10pm) Jerry Hernandez y La Orquesta Dee Jay. Check out one of the most swinging latin bands in the industry. At S.O.B.s, 45 Varick Street. For more information click here
