June 16 (7:00 pm) José Manuel Prieto at Americas Society. The Cuban writer reads from and discusses his latest novel, Voz humana. At the Americas Society, 680 Park Avenue. For more information click here


June 16 (6:30 pm) Mike Geffner presents The Inspired Word. Every Thursday night, Mike Geffner presents this poetry/spoken word event showcasing well-known artists and new talent from around the country, followed by a 15-slot open-mic.
