Dominican Republic: A Cultural Portrait. Photographer Katherine Taylor explores the cultural and natural beauty of Quisqueya. Otherworldly: Small Delusions and Optical Realities. This show explores the interest of many modern artists in "magical realism," the small-scale, handmade depiction of artificial environments and alternate realities. A Lebanese-Dominican Dominican York Is Born Again as a BronxiteNicolas Dumit Estevez explores the perceptions and misperceptions that have shaped the Bronx since the 1960s, and in a group show, a number of other artists respond with perceptions of their own.
