The second set of ten weeks will begin by reestablishing the "Discovery" writing process and the writing schedule. Playwrighting IIwill explore the revision and expansion of the script completed previously. Here all creative energy will be devoted to rewriting scenes and/or writing new scenes and acts in order to craft a full-length play. Each playwright's completed final work will then be presented in the final showcase in concert readings.

About the Playwright:
Cecilia Copeland's most notable full-length Light of Night(Luz de la Noche) has had readings at New Dramatists, Arts/West, and IATI-a full production is due in 2013. The Wicked Son A Passover Play, was featured in the Friday Night Footlights Series at the Dramatists Guild of America. She was a Biolife Finalist for the David Calicchio Emerging Playwright's Prize. Her play Courting was produced at Stage Left Productions' as it was also the New Play winner in 2008. One Women received a production for SWAN Day 2008 and was the winner of the Lennis J.
