Supreme Court Bolsters Gay Marriage and Brings Hope to Same-Sex Immigrant Spouses

The SCOTUS ruled today that the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) is unconstitutional, opening the door to the legalization of same-sex marriage in all 50 states and for gay spouses of immigrants to petition them, and struck down Proposition 8, California's ban of 2008.
