UPDATE: After 21 Hours, Cruz Ends Anti-Obama Senate Marathon
Sen. Ted Cruz's marathon speech on the Senate floor is not technically a filibuster, because it isn’t stopping any of today’s action in the Senate. The legislation that the Upper House of Congress is considering is the House GOP effort to fund the government and also defund the president’s health care law, so some Republicans are puzzled why Sen. Cruz is waging this crusade since the legislation is exactly what he begged the House to do.
