Deportations: Reaching the 2 Million Record

The Obama administration is approaching two million deportations, a grim milestone that immigration advocates decry and enforcement hawks dismiss as a failing of the president’s immigration policies.
That number will be reached possibly by year’s end or early 2014. Close enough for immigration activists to clamor for Congress to move on immigration reform and to put more pressure on President Obama in order to stop this plight of undocumented immigrant families.
